Faith and Fashion

Growing up with low self esteem, Carla Fisher did not actually think she will be in a beauty business such as modeling. She was skinny and would usually layer her clothes to hide her figure. She discovered, however, that beauty is not just in the outside. Beauty is about one’s spirit. It’s about divine appointments, it’s about where God wants you to be.  Carla gives credits to her grandmother for instilling faith on her and her family.  She knew God, but she only came to know the Lord more intimately as a young adult. It is when she understood what it means to accept God.
Today Carla Fisher is known as the Runway Diva— appearing on hundreds of runways, catalogs, magazines, and TV shows like Oprah.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. [Psalms 139:14]
Comparing yourself to others will only build up your insecurity. You are created the way your are for a wonderful purpose. Rejoice!
